Top 30 Spring Boots
Why, we hear you cry, why on earth do I need spring boots? Aren't my trusty winter pairs enough? Why must the fashion world add another didactic yet enticing reason for me to shop?
There are two reasons why spring/summer boots are a requisite of any wardrobe. The first is, as Sienna Miller, Keira Knightley and Kate Moss will attest, that they toughen up floaty dresses and skirt and stop people from looking like extras from Little House on The Prairie (this is by no means a bad thing, and people who are predisposed to such a look should turn back now). Boots have a hardiness perfect for summertime charging about and they're also supremely comfortable.
The second reason is nearly to boring to say, but I'll say it anyway - the British weather is simply not trusty enough to solely rely on sandals. You need other options; no one wants to be stuck at wet Glastonbury with only a pair of gladiator sandals for solace.
To make the boot work for spring/summer, hemlines need to be shorter - knee-length or above. The more flattering styles should be looser around the ankle and forget tights, just go bare legged.
