We’ve never appreciated brow bars more than we do now, following three long lockdowns. Each time, we were forced to take on the task of taming our brows ourselves as salons remained closed, and it’s safe to say we weren’t particularly successful. We attempted to wax our own eyebrows at home, tried our hand at eyebrow tinting and invested in the best eyebrow products in an attempt to make them look good on Zoom. We even tried microfilling - the at-home brow trend that threatened to rival microblading while our favourite salons were closed.

Benefit Brow Bars are great if you prefer to get your brows waxed rather than threaded. There tends to be lots of availability, too, meaning you can pop in at late notice and get your slugs tended to. In fact, you often don't even need an appointment. Our recommendation? Get the tint as well as a re-shape, because it offers better definition and will make your brows look fuller for longer.

Frequented by the stars of Made in Chelsea, Blush and Blow is one of the best beauty salons in West London. Despite the surprisingly purse-pleasing treatment prices, the service you get here is second to none: hot drinks on arrival, private and relaxing treatment rooms and lovely artists who are genuinely dedicated to getting your brows to where they need to be. White City
Blink Brow Bar Westfield White City
Not only based in White City, but right across London too, Blink Brow Bar is one of the OG's when it comes to shaping your arches within an inch of their lives. The salons are stylish (check out that neon sign) and, as founded by Vanita Parti (who actually received an MBE in 2015 for her services to beauty), a great destination whether you've been getting your brows done for years or you're a total newbie. Their services are affordable, too.
Knightsbridge, Monument and Stoke Newington
Founded in 2010 by Asma Docrat, Boudoir Lashes is one of the best in the bizz for lashes, but also amazing for eyebrows, too. Her salons now operate at various different London locations from Stoke Newington to Knightsbridge, and there are a range of treatments on offer. We're talking brow shaping, threading, tinting, lash extensions and lash perming.
Covent Garden
Another brow bar with destinations right across the city - not just Covent Garden - is Browhaus. They're the best brow bar in London if you're after a speedy treatment pre- night out or holiday. That said, the quality of the treatments is still exceptional, and the brow artists took their time to chat to us about our ghosts of eyebrows past, the shape we're looking to achieve and how they'd help us transform our arches over multiple appointments. The service felt really personal.
Soho
This cute little salon, nestled on Brewer Street, offers everything from brow tinting and threading to gel manicures and waxing. Their eyebrow threading and waxing starts from just £10, and the treatment rooms are fairly private. There's a reason why it's one of Treatwell's top-rated salons in the area.
Brockley
If you're based in South East London, make a beeline for Rose & River. Not exclusively for brows - you can get a pedicure/manicure/facial done on the same trip - but providing amazing services none the less. The salon is among the most photogenic we've visited, and the team are super friendly. We'll definitely be returning.
Knightsbridge, Carnaby & Essex
They're just as great with brows as they are with lashes, and they even have a salon in Essex if you're based outside of the city. Their brow treatments include 'Hi Brow threading' for a precise brow shape, microblading for semi-permanent pigment and eyebrow extensions if you've over-plucked and need added fullness.
Soho
Brows & Nails HQ is one of Treatwell's top-rated brow brows in London, and for good reason. They have 732 five-star ratings, thanks to the lovely therapists, central location and affordable treatments.
Fitzrovia
Another one of Treatwell's top-rated salons is Pampered & Pretty, a cute and very homely brow salon, where threading starts at just £15. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind, and the service is super personal.
Mayfair
This salon is a total haven and the perfect place to retreat from the busy streets of central London. There's a mezzanine brow bar (and nail bar downstairs) where you can get your arched tamed by one of a team of artists with over 15 years' experience. Meghan Markle has been here to get her brows done in the past, so you'd better believe it's good.
Soho
Cool, clean and super affordable, this brow salon is nestled on Brewer Street and the perfect place for a quick brow pit-stop.
Knightsbridge
A little more high-end, Shavata was founded in 2004 by Shavata Singh who has more than 30 years' experience in brow maintenance and has worked with the likes of Kate Hudson and Elle Macpherson. If you want an entire consultation/re-shape/face-framing transformation, this is undoubtedly one of the best places to head.
Kensington, Fitzrovia
Suman Jalaf has been coined the Queen of Brows, and with good reason. She has her own atelier in Kensington, as well as a pop-up in Hersheson’s flagship store on Berners Street, and the menus cover everyone's needs, from a standard wax to semi-permanent microblading. Whatever you go for, you’ll come out with a completely new perspective on brows: that a good treatment = a whole new face structure.

It was founded by Chanice Sienna – a genuine eyebrow genius – and her small team will wax, tweeze and tint your brows until they’re totally perfect. Everyone who’s been refuses to go elsewhere.

Emerald Brows is run by International Celebrity Brow Specialist Jigna Soni. With over 13 years in the beauty industry, Jigna is a well-respected artist in her field and responsible for the beautiful brows of celebrities such as Emma Watson, Little Mix and Alexandra Burke. We were so pleased with our brows after a visit to Jinga, who performed a HD Brows treatment on us to build shape, thread and tint. Jinga also performs threading and tinting, as well as eyelash treatments like tinting and lifts.
