This is not a drill; there are officially 11 weeks to go until Christmas. And whilst tradition might dictate that festive decorations only go up in the month leading up to the big day, we’re calling it early this year. After everything the past 19 months has put us through, Christmas is a very welcome distraction at this point - especially after last year's - and instead of cursing the moment we hear Christmas carols playing in store, it's felt like a collective countdown until the festive season. In our humble opinion, Christmas can’t come soon enough.

But how do we get into the yuletide spirit? There is no better or faster way, surely, than to get all the festive decorations out and up. When I decorate, I like to get into full Christmas mode and can highly recommend it. Put the Michael Bublé tunes on, pour yourself a festive glass of bubbly from your favourite alcohol delivery service, get the Quality streets out and start getting your place looking like the North Pole. From the tree, decked head to toe in baubles, to the stockings hung up eagerly awaiting gifts, even the Grinch himself would find it impossible to not enjoy Christmas decorating.
