1. Keep the rest of your makeup pared down. A stripped-back glowing complexion works best with this.
2. Do something simple with your hair, such as a simple tousled beauty wave look rather than a complicated updo.
3. Go all out and be brave – mix blue eyeliners with red lips. Makeup is about having fun, so it's ok to colour clash sometimes.
4. Don't wear it to work – keep this look for more formal/dressed-up occasions.
5. Top up your makeup throughout the night to ensure it hasn't slid down your face. This look needs to stay clean and flawless.
6. Bold gold metallic eyes go with most lip colours. Pair the gold with a red, burgundy or even pink lip.
