The chicest animal print pieces to buy if you want to tackle the trend without looking like Kat Slater
We all cottoned on to its resurgence a couple of years ago, but no one could've prepared us for the fashion set's continued infatuation with animal print.
It took over the AW18 runways, and subsequently littered the front row of every show a season later thanks to the crowd of influencers on the front row wearing the pieces they'd witnessed sashaying down the catwalk six months prior.
Justifying their collective name, the masses were influenced.
Showing no sign of slowing down, animal print is everywhere right now. From small, subtle nods dotted across accessories to full-blown, unashamed splashings across full-length coats, two-piece suits and maxi dresses, the demand for animal print is so rife that designers are supplying it in a huge variety of forms.
And while leopard-print was no doubt the most popular at one point, it has been joined by the likes of snake, cow, giraffe, tiger, and undoubtedly this season's hero: the zebra-print.
No doubt partly due to Bottega Veneta's iconic pouch clutch having been reimagined in the monochrome stripe, it seems that - much like last summer's dalliance with cow-print - it seems we just can't get enough of the zebra.

Naturally, we're not over any of the other prints. In fact, we're quite partial to mixing. A slim-fit leopard-print turtleneck tucked into a pair of cropped zebra-print troos is no doubt a contentious look, but one we back wholeheartedly.
