Bella Thorne responds to fans who thought she was wearing an 'Allah' necklace on Snapchat

To call Bella Thorne a media magnet would be an understatement. Literally everything the 19-year-old actress does becomes headline news — from colouring her hair bright pink to getting her first-ever bikini wax. She can't even post a selfie to Instagram without somebody making a big deal out of it.

But this swarm of media attention also causes a lot of incorrect information about Thorne to make its way into the zeitgeist—which puts her on the defence. When photos of Thorne hanging out with Scott Disick sparked romance rumours, she had to tweet that they were "legit nothing." Then there's the time a fake masturbation video of Thorne appeared on the Internet, which she brushed off by tweeting a series of laughing emojis.

And, most recently, Thorne was quick to clarify things when fans were speculating about her religion. As Teen Vogue spotted, it all started when she posted a photo of herself to Snapchat wearing multiple necklaces. Someone thought one of Thorne's necklaces had "Allah" written on it, so they took to social media to get answers. "What if she is Muslim tho," another fan said on Instagram in reference to the necklace.

Thorne, however, quickly set the record straight. (Though, to be clear, it wouldn't be a big deal if Thorne was Muslim — or any religion, for that matter.) She somehow managed to find these comments — to our knowledge, no one tagged her — and revealed her necklace's real message.

"It actually says 'slut,'" Thorne wrote. See this all for yourself, below.

Thorne's response quickly went viral, for obvious reasons; the above tweet alone has more than 40,000 "likes." That's awesome—and very Bella Thorne.
