I pride myself on being an expert packer. Having always travelled a lot for work, I like to think I've got it down to a fine art - always roll your clothing really tight (this saves so much space), put your liquids in an airtight bag (I learned this the hard way), and compartmentalise your suitcase so you can easily find everything upon arrival.

When it comes to my beauty products, I'm a pro at condensing my multi-step skincare regime down to the bare necessities, and have a carefully curated roster of products that I will never go on holiday without. Yes, they can vary if I'm trying something new, but so far, I've always come back to these essential items...
Histoire D'Orangers Eau De Parfum, £115, L'Artisan Parfumeur
Inspired by warm light and a sense of adventure, this is my ultimate summer scent. The perfumer, Marie Salamagne, created the scent after a trip to Souss, which sits at the foothills of the Anti-Atlas, between Tazenaght and Taroudant in Morocco. Of her visit, she says; "'My memory of the sunset on Taroudant walls remains untouched. Suddenly, the valley takes on exceptional shades, a warm light intensifies the colours of the raw land and the atmosphere gets fresher. Each time I think of this majestic landscape, I think of orange tree flower water. A delicate and delicious water, ultra-refreshing and incredibly luminous." And that's exactly what Histoire D'Orangers is - orange blossom, fresh white flowers and warming tonka bean.
Self Tan Purity Bronzing Water Face Mist, £22, St.Tropez
I am rubbish at applying fake tan and more often than not create splotches and streaks, even after meticulous blending with a mitt. This is what makes this spray so special - it doesn't require blending. The mist is so micro-fine that you simply spritz and go. The results are always totally flawless and streak-free. And, it doesn't smell. I just wish they made a super-sized version so I could do my entire body.
Anti-Ageing Sun Protection For Very Sensitive Skin SPF30, £16, Ultrasun
Sun cream always seems to make me break out - but not this one. It's designed for extremely sensitive skin, so it skips any nasties that may result in inflammation or redness. Plus, it's broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection, as well as providing anti-ageing benefits. Winner.
Perfect Legs Skin Protector SPF30, £40, This Works
When it comes to holiday packing, I'm all about choosing multi-tasking products. This tinted serum for legs (and arms!) contains a subtle glowy pigment to blur skin tone (a godsend for those of us prone to mosquito bites!) while hydrating the skin and proving SPF30.
Skin Food Multipurpose Balm, £12.95, Weleda
Ok, so this one isn't actually specific to holidays. I don't go anywhere without it. It's a multi-use, deeply replenishing and healing cream that can be used everywhere. Dry cuticles, sun burn, cracked heels, you name it - Skin Food has you sorted.
Ideal Soleil Solar Protective Water SPF30, £15.20, Vichy
For those days spent lounging by the pool, you want your sun care to require minimum effort. Vichy's new solar water is exactly that - super lightweight so as no to need rubbing in, but still very high protection from UVA and UVB rays.
The Original Detangler, £11.99, WetBrush
Anyone with fine hair will recognise the struggles of combing out holiday tangles. This brush makes it totally bearable - the flexible bristles mean zero tugging.

Going makeup-free is one of the greatest joys of being on holiday. But going without my brow makeup makes me feel a little too naked, mainly as my brows are naturally very pale and frail.
