BAFTA TV awards: 11 talking points
The BAFTA TV awards aren't typically known for its fashion credentials.
And yet, it always delivers a few style talking points. There were some real successes (Helen McCrory in her floral shoulder-baring dress for one), as well as a few more experimental options - Alexandra Roach in her Batman-esque cape (capes are fast becoming a red carpet trend) and Caroline Flack in her Halston jumpsuit, which looked perilously difficult to walk in.
Also a big round of applause needs to go to Mary Berry, who wore head to toe sequins in 26-degree heat - a defiant trooper.

Caroline Flack’s Halston jumpsuit has been criticised for being unflattering, but I think she did miraculously well to even walk in it – you try moving gracefully in a jumpsuit that’s far too long in the leg, which is presumably like walking in quick sand. Well done Flack, amazing work.
