Here are all the incredible outfits from tonight's BAFTAs red carpet

The four big fashion weeks may have just wrapped but there's been little time to rest for some of the world's most major designers, with the 2022 BAFTAs red carpet being rolled out as we speak at London's Royal Albert Hall as it plays host some of biggest names in film and - naturally - some seriously epic gowns.

While awards season is a very different affair once again this year (the Grammys were postponed for a second year running in light of the ongoing pandemic, and the once star-studded Golden Globes ceremony was boycotted after an exposé found there were no black voters and included claims of inappropriate "freebies"), the red carpet has seen slightly more action than it did at the height of the pandemic with February playing host to both the SAG Awards and the Brits. 

Tonight it falls to us Brits once again to show how well we can throw a bash.

Of course an event is often only as good as its guests, but with Lady Gaga, Tessa Thompson, Lashana Lynch, Ruth Negga, Jessie Buckley and Ariana Debose all up for awards, and Emma Watson, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Sophie Turner, Sienna Miller, Millie Bobby Brown and Simone Ashley all confirmed to be presenting, tonight's red carpet was always set to be a real highlight of the season.

The BAFTAs Film Awards 2022: The winners have been announced, with Dune and The Power of the Dog leading the way

The ceremony has just wrapped at the Royal Albert Hall.

One of the first to arrive on today's BAFTAs red carpet was Daisy Ridley, who looked sensational in a black, Bardot-shouldered Vivienne Westwood gown with a layered tulle skirt.

Joining her in black was Millie Bobby Brown - whose dress had a super sexy lace insert bustier and lace panels at the leg -  and Lady Gaga in an emerald green mermaid gown.
