This is the ASOS dress everyone wants to get their hands on for summer weddings
When it comes to wedding guest dresses, finding 'the one' can feel almost as difficult a task as if you were the bride herself. Formal but not too formal. A decent length. Nothing 'clubby' but needs to be a viable dancefloor option. Religiously appropriate (in some instances). No white. In fact, nothing pale at all. See? Exhausting.
Thankfully - for all involved - there are a few dresses that aren't entirely ruled out. One of which is this absolute cracker by ASOS Design.
Exploiting one of the season's most popular emerging trends, it features a clashing mixed print, with white-based polka-dot paint splatters sitting atop a navy and green floral pep-hem skirt.
A flattering elbow-length sleeve balances out the deep-v neckline, and waist cinch offsetting and complementing the full-skirted mid-length hem.
And at just £45, it's already being snapped up by savvy shoppers with a fistful of wedding invites in their grips.

Even savvier shoppers will also have noticed its likeness to a certain cult Rixo dress (below), which also makes use of the mixed-print tactic.
At £315, it's seven time the price of ASOS's version, but being 100% silk, that price hike is understandable.
Whichever you opt for, thanks to the fashion industry's current obsession with all things clashing-prints you'll be the chicest guest at that wedding.
