Apple Music Festival 10, London 2016Day 3: Alicia Keys
The atmosphere
When it was announced Alicia Keys would be on stage in â10 minutes!â, a wave of cheer filled The Roundhouse. The show started with a New York DJ who got the crowd suitably pumped playing hits such as Simon Says and Jump Around. Swaggering on, Alicia arrived after and promptly announced, "this is going to be a basement party vibeâ. She wasnât wrong.
The costumes
Keys opted for a layered Vetements get-up, leather trousers and towering stiletto shoe boots. She may have looked right on trend but she did comment that âThe Round House could do with some better air conditioningâ. Maybe she only needed a few of those Vetements layers.
The performance. Was there much chat?
First off, Alicia Keyâs voice live is insane. Pitch perfect. She opted for a set life of golden oldies think - Fallinâ, If I Ainât Got You and You Donât Know My Name â as well as new songs from her album. Her performance of her current single, In Common, brought the house down when it was performed half-acoustic, half-electro. During the show she also shared the stage with soul singer, Sampha who filled in Drakeâs verse on the 2009 hit Un-thinkable. As for performance? She danced, she rocked and she entertained. Sheâs pretty damn warm when she speaks to the crowd too. 10/10

The moves
Like we said, Aliciaâs got some killer moves! When she wasnât at the piano working her magic, she was getting down to the music.
Anything to add
GLAMOUR spotted Brooklyn Beckham in the audience. We wish we could say he was up on his feet, but alas, that wasnât the case. Still he appeared to love the show â especially when Alicia sang a song with the word âBrooklynâ in â his mates all gave him a little nudge.
Apple Music Festival 10, London 2016Day 2: The 1975
The atmosphere
Before playing Me, Matt Healy said: ''Let's make it 100% no phones and use our eyes and hearts and enjoy each other's company." It was a nice touch within a highly digital set (being streamed online), that had us all focus on the music (and him tbh). He's a frontman who handles a delicate balance of confidence and charm with a dash of rockstar cockiness for good measure, and you cannot help but love him for it. The crowd is with him, every step of the way.
By the last few songs - (hits Chocolate, The Sound and Sex), the whole of The Roundhouse were up jumping and cheering (and some even throwing their beers in the air!).
The costumes
Through the dimly lit set and rapturous applause from the crowd, frontman Matt slowly appeared on stage with the rest of his band, and they were straight in to the first hit single Love Me, from their latest album I Like It When You Sleep For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It. Matt is wearing a tux for the first half, (yes, a tux #YouLookGoodAndImAwareOfIt) - later to be pared back to only the jacket and a thin tee.

Whether it is swigging large quantities of wine or strutting across the stage on his tip toes, it's clear Matt is a total rockstar. The show as a whole is a real immersive experience - faultless vocals and the infectious party sounds that have earned them the top place in both the UK and US charts. Thanks to a dazzling display of lights and cityscape projections, you have no choice but to admire the spectacle that is in front of you.
The moves
Simultaneously dancing on his tip toes and flicking his curly locks back to every drum beat - moves i'm certain Jagger would be proud of:
The moves
Our current thoughts: If this is what they can do in an intimate venue like The Roundhouse, I cannot wait to see what they do at the O2!
Apple Music Festival 10, London 2016Day 1: Elton John
The atmosphere
The room was electric, understandable when Elton John was about to perform - especially in an intimate venue like The Roundhouse. People were dancing and singing along. We saw a few feather boas as well.

The costumes
This is Elton John weâre talking about â the manâs got a flamboyant sense of style. For the opening night of the Apple Music Festival he chose a red suit with a huge red rose on the back â in ruby red crystals. YASSS, Elton!
The performance. Was there much chat?
If youâre going to watch Elton John, you donât want him to chat â you want him to SING. And he did just that - he blew us away. The legend, and his incredible band, whipped us into a frenzy with Your Song, Bennie & The Jets and Rocket Man as well as new songs from his latest album Wonderful Crazy Night.

The moves
There were plenty of moves â but not from Elton John. He actually brought on the stage some new talent; Gallant, Rosie Lowe (pictured), Parker Millsap and Christine and the Queens and they all provided even more entertainment and something a little extra. Gallant pulled off some moves (and his voice was incredible!), as did Christine and the Queens, who got the biggest screams of the night.
Anything to add?
Elton said he wanted to bring his special guests to the stage because mainstream radio is full of âcrapâ. You go, Elton!
