& Other Stories have dropped a new collection and it ticks off every trend you’ll want to rock this season
& Other Stories is one of those shops that you could go into on any day, at any time of the year in any location and find at least 25 pieces of clothing you’d like to take home. They seem to get it right every single time, taking the trends from the catwalks and making them wearable and then some.
They also do a pretty good job at introducing us to styles we never before knew we needed. Take these lilac tailored trousers, for example. We never knew lilac pants could look quite so good, but they’ve fast become an & Other Stories favourite with a possy of fans.
Luckily for us, the brand has just dropped a new collection (what a Friday treat), and every single piece is stunning. Goodbye, pay check. It’s so good that you could create your entire spring capsule wardrobe from the designs they’ve launched, accessories and all.
The collection ticks off pretty much every spring summer 2020 trend that matters, from chain necklaces to torso ruching, and in every on-trend colour.
Worth mentioning first is the array of cowboy-inspired boots that they’ve dropped, perfect for that awkward period between now and when the sun actually starts to shine. (The light beige ones are by far our favourite). On top of that, their sage game is also seriously strong (it’s a hue which is set to dominate for the rest of 2020) - think jumpsuits, jumpers, midi-dresses, trousers and more. To pair with your sage get-up are chain necklaces, wrapped ankle shoes and a whole tonne of polka dots. And some cute pastel gem earrings for a little extra edge.
If that wasn’t enough, lilac is rife at & Other Stories right now, with cardigans, trouser suits and knitted jumpers all appearing in the hue. We’d be happy dressing in head to toe lilac for the entirety of the season, tbh.
