Amy Schumer is the only woman on Forbes' Highest Paid Comedians list this year
She's a funny lady and the world has taken notice: Amy Schumer has become one of Forbes' 10 Highest Paid Comedians... and she's the only woman on the list.
The Snatched star, has made the business magazine's list of top 10 earners for the second year in a row, making her the highest paid comedienne in the world.
The hilarious Amy - whose comedy career includes everything from sell-out stand ups, sketch show series, films and books - knocked in at number five on the list. But how much money are we talking, Amy? The funnywoman is predicted to have made around $37.5 million in the last twelve months.
Wow.
Most of this year's earnings are thought to have come from her new show Amy Schumer: The Leather Special, a book titled The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo as well as lucrative deals with brands like Bud Light and Old Navy.
Amy was beaten by only Dave Chapelle who came fourth, Louis C.K who came third, Chris Rock who came second and Jerry Seinfeld who came in first place with an estimated $69 million in taking from the past year.
