What I loved about this look was keeping the retro elements that Adele has become known for, but giving the hair a more relaxed texture whilst leaving skin glowing & fresh which kept the look modern and youthful. For skin that radiates from within I always prep clients using Decleor Aroma Cleanse & hydrate with Decleor Rose Oil underneath Neroli Balm which leaves skin plump & primed to perfection.

Using only enough perfecting water-based foundation to still allow the natural skin texture to show through and simple elegant hair swept away from the face gave the perfect canvas for focus feature eyes that smouldered in burnished bronze and charcoals framed by a fuller brow but keeping the finish soft by using a lighter pencil.
When creating eyes that any bond girl would be proud of my insider tip is layering textures – starting with an eye paint like M.A.C Painterly to give a great base to then use Revlon Shimmering Sienna metallic shadow giving lovely warmth to the entire eyelid and along the bottom lashline before taking M.A.C Nocturnelle a deeper matte shadow blending into the out corner of the eye socket and in the water line for feline definition.

Skin was left porcelain and flawless, whilst a softly groomed brow helped amplify a carefully lined eye and pumped up lash look. A demi-matte, true red lip was the finishing touch.
For the perfect pout start by filling the lip with lipstick working from the middle of the mouth outwards and creating the desired shaped using a lip brush. Blot off the excess product before tidying the edges with lipliner. For the perfect bespoke red combining Shiseido Lipliner RD305 and Chanel Rouge Allure Lipstick / Passion gives a colour pay-off that suits all skin tones.

For the performance we softened the lip adding polish and shine to work with Adeles’ new hair which I styled into what has since been describe as “The Marilyn for The Modern Woman”.

Re-interpreting the glamour that hit Hollywood in the late 1960’s with some ‘Valley of The Dolls’ volume framed a make-up look that was perfected innocence with a hint of adventure.
If you are turning up the volume when it comes to your hair make sure you turn everything else down a notch – when it comes to colour for eyes that whispers sophistication the Estee Lauder palette/Desert Heat is one of my absolute favourites teamed with a Top Shop ceramic a soft neutral which is perfect under clear lip gloss.

The real hero of this look is the lashes & liner, creating a beautiful open Bambi shape eye which is set off by a soft reflective peachy blush bringing out the colour of the iris and milky English Rose complexion.
I always have Bobbi Brown Gel Liner in black in my kit, start on the inner corner of the eye and increase the width of liner as you extend towards the outer corner finishing with a flirty flick. To give the eyes a polished yet understated feel, place strip lashes along the entire upper lash line before building up lash density with my must-have mascara 'Dior Black Out' top and bottom.
