Sol de Janeiro Delicia Drench Shower Oil
I love the Sol de Janeiro Cheriosa 59 scent so much, I literally want to bathe in it. Restore moisture to the skin with the new oil-to-milk body wash, powered by bacuri butter, prebiotic hibiscus and a lipid-restoring oil blend while inhaling lungfuls of warm, uplifting vanilla orchid, sugared violet and sandalwood.
Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Cream
Dullness and dehydration are often your skin sending out an S.O.S flare. Remember when Victoria Beckham called the original Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque an “ambulance” in a tube? Well, now the moisturiser version has landed, similarly packed with vitamins A, C and E, alongside niacinamide – to increase its resilience against the damaging free radicals skin produces in response to stress.
Laneige Water Bank Gentle Gel Cleanser
Just because a cleanser only stays on your skin for 60 seconds before rinsing, doesn't mean it can't address some major skin issues. This new Laneige cleanser does everything you'd expect – it removes makeup, sunscreen, impurities – and some things you wouldn't. The formula matches the skin’s pH level 5.0, and contains tiny droplets of hyaluronic and amino acids – all of which improve skin's moisture levels.
The Inkey List Ectoin Hydro-Barrier Serum
While hyaluronic acid has gained rock-star status for hydration, ectoin has remained in the shadows. Not any more. An amino acid found naturally in certain microorganisms that thrive in some of the world's most hostile environments, ectoin is equally as effective at quenching dry skin's thirst. But it also offers the added benefit of snuffing out inflammation. So when hyaluronic acid and ectoin join forces, as they do in this serum, expect multi-level hydration up to 10 layers deep.
Paula's Choice Pro-Collagen Peptide Plumping Moisturiser
Bouncy skin is in with this cooling gel cream, powered by three peptides to nudge skin into producing more collagen and an upgraded form of hyaluronic acid – created using a fermentation method – so that the hydrating molecules are more easily absorbed. In other words, there's no chance of sub-zero temperatures doing you damage on the sly.
L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Laser Tri-Peptides Age Correcting Serum
When it comes to the skincare ingredients that really count, peptides, hyaluronic acid and vitamin C should top your wish list. Find them all in this triple threat formula from L’Oréal Paris, packed with tripeptides (Argireline, Synake, Matrixyl) to smooth expression lines, vitamin C to brighten and hyaluronic acid to leave skin plumper than a hotel pillow. Shop more vitamin C serums here.
Vieve Super Skin Nova
Vieve founder Jamie Genevieve told me that her customers have been begging her to bring out a moisturiser. Super Skin Nova – a skincare/makeup hybrid – is the answer to those dry skin woes. Don't worry, it still primes your skin pre-makeup, like its little sister Skin Nova. But what makes it ‘super’ – in every sense of the word – is that it also acts as a cushiony moisturiser with no fewer than 33 powerful skincare ingredients (including niacinamide, a blend of hyaluronic acid molecules, peptides and ceramides) to increase skin hydration for 48 hours and improve elasticity. Oh, and did we mention that the universally flattering, golden tint makes your skin look like it's bathed in candlelight?
Shiseido Vital Perfection Uplifting & Firming Advanced Cream Soft
I could talk at length about this little pot's many high-tech ingredients (including safflower extract, which boosts the nutrients skin needs to renew itself). But the main draw is the texture, which instantly soothes wind-whipped skin without suffocating pores or feeling greasy. Quite the opposite, in fact. The matte finish lays down the perfect base for makeup. The promise of brighter-looking skin after just a week is pretty appealing, too.
No7 Derm Solutions AHA Smoothing Treatment
No7's Derm Solutions has made a name for itself as a very considered, expert range to tackle skin concerns – without being aggressive or too pricey. This new two-in-one smoothing treatment has been formulated specifically with oily, blemish-prone skin in mind. It offers a 360-degree solution by first exfoliating pore-clogging dead skin cells and then curbing excess oil production, so skin looks clearer without ever feeling like you're burning away the top layer.
Refy Face Sculpt
There's no shame in wanting to do the bare ‘skinimum’ while still demanding results from your products. This world-first moisturiser may just scratch that itch. Featuring a built-in roller massager inspired by lymphatic drainage and massage techniques, the five cooling balls rotate to visibly sculpt and lift. All the while a grape-sized dollop of the gel-cream delivers a skin-firming peptide, hydrating glycerin and calming provitamin B5 into the skin.
Mac Hyper Real Serumizer Eye
Mac has tapped some of the most Googled skincare ingredients – vitamin C, niacinamide and peptides – alongside Japanese peony, to create a refreshing, featherlight eye cream that firms the eye's outer contours, softens crow's feet and brightens dark Saturn-like rings.
Chanel No.1 De Chanel The Massage Accessory
Gua shas have slid into many of our skincare routines, but none look as luxe as Chanel's scarlet iteration. Made from camellia seed husks and wood by-products, it features six different edges to help you sculpt and lift with ease – whether you're driving the camellia ceramides in the new Red Camellia Cream deeper into the skin or getting rid of your 7am face puff. My favourite move is to cradle the jawline in the V-shaped end of the tool while stroking from the chin up to the ear.
Ole Henriksen Après Skin Multi-Use Rich Rescue Crème
Multi-tasking products that take a more 2.0 approach are a major trend for 2025. Tend to crispy, moisture-starved skin with this thick night cream that moonlights as a leave-on face mask and floods skin with moisture-binding electrolytes, ceramides, vitamins and berry oils from Scandinavia.
Fenty Skin Cherry Dub Pore Purify’r Gel Cleanser
Trust Rihanna to have already been working on a formula containing Barbados Cherry – before this vitamin C-rich superfruit was unveiled as one of 2025's biggest ingredient trends. This multi-tasking cleanser was designed with blemish-prone skin in mind, and washes excess oil and impurities down the drain while brightening and never stripping it of moisture.
But don't just take our word for it. “This gel cleanser is my holy grail on my oily days," Rihanna says. "It washes away my surface oil and shine but doesn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry or dull. It actually helps brighten skin and improves the look of pores too.”
Beauty Pie Super Happy Face No-Stress Softening Jelly Cleanser
With a jelly-like texture, this cleanser mops up excess oil but is also gentle enough to use on sensitive skin – thanks to its added dose of soothing oats, moisturising lipids and aloe vera. Better still, it only costs £12 if you're a Beauty Pie member.
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Natural Dewy SPF30
Is there anything more delicious than a cream with moisture-grabbing ingredients and a sheer tint for confidence-boosting coverage? Laura Mercier's original tinted moisturiser was always the OG, but even icons need to reinvent themselves sometimes. Available in 20 shades, it now boasts 16-hour wear and has added raspberry leaf and black grape to the ingredient line up to restore the skin barrier and lock in all-day hydration.
Murad Heartleaf Gentle Resurfacing Serum
Those with sensitive skin typically skip exfoliation to prevent their skin flashing a deep, painful red. But the scientists at Murad have discovered that encapsulating glycolic acid in a protective layer – and then slowly drip-feeding it into the skin – allows even those with the most delicate skin to reveal polished, shiny new skin without discomfort. If those benefits aren't convincing enough, the addition of soothing heartleaf and algae in the hypo-allergenic formula reduces five signs of skin sensitivity in just one week.
Q+A Collagen Hand Cream
Our hands are often one of the most neglected body parts, despite being the most exposed to the elements and harsh soaps. At this time of year, especially, you'll want to use hand cream on a loop and lean into vegetable collagen, a highly effective humectant that attracts moisture to the skin, and antioxidants to protect against age spots. Find both in this purse-friendly option.
Estée Lauder Re-Nutriv Ultimate Diamond Age Reversal Eye Creme
Yes, this eye cream is pricey – but it's also powered by years-long research into an exciting new skincare ingredient. Sirtuins are essentially enzymes that help the body repair damage and renew cells. This eye cream includes the sirtuins that Estée Lauder has identified boost collagen production (thereby improving the look of slack skin, crepiness and dark circles) so your skin cells start to behave younger – and you look more perky and awake.
