Over the past few years, social media has opened up a plethora of doors for fashion and beauty lovers around the world to showcase their talent. Now more than ever, platforms like Instagram and Youtube have allowed women of all types of cultures, backgrounds and aesthetics to be celebrated for their own unique beauty - much of which is thanks to the rise of bloggers and in particular, Muslim bloggers.

It's no secret that there has been (and still is) a lack of diversity within the fashion and beauty industries, but with the recent debut of Halima Aden, the first hijab-wearing supermodel, the upcoming Nike hijab collection and the army of aspiring Muslim make-up artists and stylists growing a huge following, things are moving in the right direction.
