Zendaya was the drama at the 2026 Oscars. Namely, because everyone was wondering if she'd confirm her alleged secret wedding to Tom Holland, either by directly answering a red carpet question or showing up with a second ring on her finger. After all, that's how she announced her engagement in January 2025.
Well, on March 15, she arrived on the Oscars red carpet wearing a gold band alongside her massive cushion cut diamond ring. As for the rest of the look, Z arrived in a mocha coloured custom Louis Vuitton gown with an asymmetrical neckline.
Zendaya first sparked wedding rumours last month when she was spotted with a gold band in place of her usual rock, though fans were unsure if the actor had simply turned her ring towards her palm or switched to a simpler ring to keep the real one safe.
Then Z's longtime stylist Law Roach dropped the wedding bombshell at the 2026 Actor Awards, telling Access Hollywood, “The wedding has already happened. You missed it.” Though he promised he was telling the truth, a similar quote he gave Entertainment Tonight made it sound like a facetious way of dodging wedding dress questions on the red carpet. And that's not where this secret wedding saga ends.
On March 5, A24 dropped new promo for The Drama, starring Zendaya and Rob Pattinson. In the photos and video, she seemed to be wearing her engagement ring with a gold band while playfully strangling her costar. Then she joked about a “last name reveal” while serving as a legal witness for newlyweds in Vegas. But with all we know about Zendaya's flair for method dressing, that could have all been a part of an elaborate press tour for the wedding-themed film.
But that second ring at the 2026 Oscars? Well, she certainly wasn't in character on stage…must be real?
