YSL Beauté's first web series, Before The Light, has us a little excited. Why? Well, the project aims to explore the relationship between artists and their makeup. Oh, and it features some of the coolest women of the moment.

YSL takes viewers backstage to see how makeup transforms powerful women into rock stars.
The first episode features the gorgeous Zoe Kravitz, who takes us through her pre-performance routine. This includes some time alone to apply her makeup.
"For me makeup is often like war painting, because going on stage is a fight to reach perfection," she says.
