You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah! is the next Netflix movie that will be a huge family affair – not just for you and your nearest and dearest, but for the project's star cast.
The upcoming comedy movie will see Hollywood legend Adam Sandler in its lead role alongside his wife, Jackie Sandler and their daughters, Sunny and Sadie Sandler. See, we told you, it's a true family affair!
As part of his Happy Madison Productions company deal with Netflix, reportedly worth up to $275 million, Adam's new film offering comes after his role in the streamer's Murder Mystery 2 earlier this year. He is also slated to star in Netflix's science fiction film Spaceman, which will be released later this year.
And it's clear why Adam wanted his family to be in You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah!, which is based on Fiona Rosenbloom's 2007 book of the same name.
The movie, which is centred on bat mitzvahs, a coming-of-age Jewish ritual, undoubtedly holds a special place in the hearts of the Sandler family, who are committed to his Jewish heritage.
Also, his daughter's talents certainly speak for themselves, with 16-year-old Sadie having already starred alongside him in films such as You Don't Mess with the Zohan and Bedtime Stories.
Meanwhile, Sunny, 14, has also worked with her father, Adam, on the films Grown Ups, Blended and Murder Mystery.

As per Netflix, the official synopsis reads: "Stacy and Lydia are BFFs who've always dreamed about having epic bat mitzvahs. But things start to go comically awry when a popular boy and middle school drama threatens their friendship and their rite of passage."
