Who needs football when you have the pre-Wimbledon party hosted by Sam and Holly Branson, hey?

Last night GLAMOUR went along to the annual WTA Pre-Wimbledon party Party presented by Dubai Duty Free at The Roof Gardens, in London's Kensington - y'know, the swish venue seen on various episodes of Made in Chelsea.

The MIC cast were AWOL from last night's party, but we did schmooze with the likes of Maria Sharapova, Venus Williams and Russian player Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, not to mention Chloe Green, Mischa Barton, Zoe Hardman (we loved her ASOS shoes), Ashley Roberts, Sarah Jane Crawford, Matt Johnson, Lilah Parsons, Matt Richardson, Collabro, and many others at the exclusive party held by the Women's Tennis Association to mark the beginning of Wimbledon.

Maria Sharapova - dressed in white, but of course, arguably stole the show in her fabulous dress which she teamed with an Anya Hindmarch 'crisp packet' clutch (the same bag Solange threw at Jay Z during the lift fight). Unlike us, she didn't walk to the event, oh no, she was driven to the party in the Porsche 918 Spyder by racing driver Mark Webber. As you do.

Venus Williams looked uber glamorous as well, dressed in a sequin green number with sky-high stilettos.

Both Sam and Holly Branson hosted the event, and guests sipped on champers, Ciroc Vodka cocktails, and nibbled on lots of delicious canapés.

Celebrities nibbled - we scoffed.

All in all, a wonderful night, and now we're REALLY excited for Wimbledon. Is it Pimm's o'clock yet?
