If you don't know yet who Maxine Waters is, grab a seat, 'cause you're about to be lectured on sass.
Maxine Waters is the American congress Representative for California, known for her fiery answers and I've-no-time-for-your-bullshit attitude, she's taking over Trump's troubled America and speaking out about politics. She's honestly taking over our hearts.
To restore your faith in humanity we've compiled Maxine's most badass moments. We need more people like Maxine Waters.
When she couldn't even with people thinking she'd attend Trump's inauguration
"I don't honour him, I don't respect him and I don't want to be involved with it".
When she walked off during a press conference, because why bother with nonsense?
Daaammmn girl!
When she said she would help the tea party "get there" and by there she meant "straight to hell"
"This is a tough game. You can't be intimidated, you can't be frightened. As far as I'm concerned the tea party can go straight to hell. And I intend to help them get there".
When she stood up for African-Americans and questioned patriotism
Kicks in at 2:08...
"Despite the fact that America has not always been there for us, we've always been there for America".
When you realise she's been owning politicians in congress since the '90s
And finally, when she stood up for women in politics and the workforce (and made Bill O'Reilly regret he was ever born)
Fox News anchor Bill O'Reilly made a ridiculous comment on Maxine Waters's hair while she gave her political views on President Donald Trump: "I didn't hear a word she said. I was looking at the James Brown wig" - O'Reilly said.
During a live interview Maxine Waters defended herself saying she was not even going to respond to O'Reilly's comments and apologies. Instead, Maxine epically took the broadcasting time to speak up for women that are disrespected in the workforce (dragging O'Reilly as a consequence):
āIām a strong black woman. I cannot be intimidated. I cannot be undermined. I cannot be thought to be afraid of Bill OāReilly or anybody. Iād like to say to women out there everywhere, donāt allow these right-wing talking heads, these dishonorable people, to intimidate you or scare you. Be who you are, do what you do. And let us get on with discussing the real issues of this country.ā
She continued: āWhen a woman stands up and speaks truth to power, there will be an attempt to put her down. Iām not going to be put down, Iām not going to go anywhere. Iām going to stay on the issues".
Keep owning it Maxine. We're here for it.
