I'm A Celeb is back!
A new troop of celebrities have been shipped off to the jungle — and as we all get stuck in watching them take on their challenges and survive together in their no-frills camp, the question on all of our minds is, of course, where is I'm a Celebrity filmed?
Yes, it's a real jungle. Kind of. But, no, you couldn't visit the exact filming location even if, for some reason, you wanted to.

Where is I'm a Celeb filmed?
Ever since the series' second season in 2003, the iconic I'm a Celebrity campsite and challenges have taken played in the (somewhat controlled) wilderness of New South Wales, Australia. (The first season set up camp somewhere in Queensland.)
The location is in Springbrook National Park, a sprawling rainforest near the Queensland border and not too far down the coast from Brisbane.
The exact spot where the celebs live and compete is called Dungay Creek.
From Alex Scott to Jack Osbourne, it's set to be a big year for I'm A Celeb.

As executive producer Olly Nash told The Mirror last year when the filming location had an upgrade, “There is a new building that is called the Leaders Lodge that will have wonderfully comfy beds sheltered from the rain, nice plush pillows and big duvets, or doonas, as they call them, in Australia, which will keep them nice and snug and warm.”
So, not quite as uncomfortable an experience as it may seem!
