It's been two years since Balayage blew up the beauty scene. What started as a hair trend loved by the A-list is now one of the most-requested colour treatments at the salon, boasting less time in the chair and low maintenance regrowth, not to mention a gorgeous natural finish.
Recently we were introduced to Fallayage, which uses the same technique to warm up your hair tone rather than lightening it.
But this is 2018, and everything is just a little bit extra. Enter, Glitterage.
Just like Balayage, colour is hand-painted on to the hair in strands, but instead of honey or ash blonde, it's glittery rose golds and mermaid blues.
Back in November, US hair stylist Danielle Wade used the technique on a model who looked incredible with blue-green Glitterage on her dark hair.

Now the trend is moving into the mainstream, with hair stylists around the world taking on the new technique. We love.
