I swear dewy skin might be my personality trait at this point. These days, I go foundation-free for a natural base, but I will not skip the illuminator step to even out my complexion when the sun might be lacking. I was excited to try this Westman Atelier Liquid Super Loaded Highlighter, as it appeared to be the perfect base for my day-to-night beat.
Let's start with the packaging, which is as chic as expected from Westman. I went for the Peau de Soleil shade which is a golden brown that perfectly complements my dark complexion. The formula is fluid and glides easily onto the skin but is not too watery. The finish is chefs kiss and the glow it left me with is unmatched. I'll have to admit that as far as highlighters and illuminators go, this is one is on the higher end price point wise, but you are paying for a luxurious, high quality product with durability which also serves as a skincare hybrid, and that's exactly what you get.

Typically, I'm not much of a highlighter girl because I feel as though it can quickly make makeup look a little cakey, but one thing that I noticed immediately when I tried the Westman Atelier liquid highlighter was how lightweight the product felt on. This was my first time trying anything from the brand, though the things that I have heard have been great.
I found that the highlighter glided on easily, giving an effortless peachy sheen that looked more like a natural, dimension adding glow rather than a heavy handed highlight. Applying it to just above my cheekbones, the tip of my nose, cupid's bow and under my brows, I loved the almost lifting effect that this gave on application. On the whole, I liked the natural finish this gave and could definitely see myself reaching for this one again.

Unbelievably – perhaps even criminally – I hadn't tried a single Westman Atelier product before blessing my cheekbones with Liquid Super Loaded. But ~wow~. What a way to break my Westman virginity. This is exactly the product my makeup bag was calling out for this summer: a sheer, cool oyster-toned pink highlight which can be used in a multitude of ways: under foundation, atop your base as a highlight or, on makeup-free days, on its own.
I've mostly been using it as a finishing touch to my makeup look, to give my complexion a wake-up, across my cheekbones, down my nose and across my cupid's bow. And the GLOW it gives me is unrivalled. The consistency is perhaps a tiny bit sticky for my liking, but I'll still be reaching for it all season

I’m trying to be in my glowy girl era right now, so seeing this Westman Atelier highlighter land on my desk got my heart rate going. This was my first time trying a product from the brand and I was very into the whole experience. Coming in at a higher price point, the packaging feels luxe and weighty, but compact enough to fit easily in your makeup bag.I loved the consistency of the liquid highlight, it was thin enough to be able to blend out seamlessly into my skin, but thick enough to pack a punch and deliver on staying power.
I applied the Peau de Peche shade to all of the high points of my face and it left a gorgeous lit-from-within glow. Despite being a pinker tone than I usually go for, I was impressed that there were no obvious signs of pigment, just pure glow. This is the perfect highlighter for those warm summer nights when you want a healthy glow without feeling like you’re caked in products. Big bonus points for the sweet lemon sherbet scent that surrounds you when you apply it.

I LOVE a glowy skin moment. Specifically, I'm down for a lit-from-within look that gives the impression that your skin is naturally healthy, fresh and luminous without the help of gritty or glittery highlighters. I tried the pretty pink shade – a blush-highlighter hybrid that blends beautifully over cheeks and high points for some targeted radiance. Or, there's a champagne and bronze shade that you can mix it in with your foundation or moisturiser for an all-over warm glow. This earns points for it's delicately luminous formula, it's just the eye watering price that knocks a mark off for me.
