It’s been a year and a half since season one, and we can finally, finally confirm: season two of We Might Regret This is here. So block your calendars, slip into your comfiest joggers, and get ready to laugh until you pee a little.
The BBC series, first aired in 2024, follows tetraplegic artist Freya (Kyla Harris), who moves to London to start a new life with her older romantic interest, Abe (Darren Boyd).
When Freya finds herself without care and sofa‑surfing Jo (Elena Saurel) finds herself without a home or a job, Jo moves in with the couple and becomes Freya’s 24/7 PA — and Abe’s 24/7 headache.
Tensions further rise thanks to Abe’s soon‑to‑be ex‑wife Jane (Sally Phillips) and his son Levi (Edward Bluemel).
Creators Lee and Kyla teased that season two will deliver “more laughs, hard truths and nipples.”

As Freya throws herself into planning her big day, it looks like storm clouds may already be gathering. In one charged scene, Jo is seen clasping Abe’s hand and shooting him a distinctly suggestive glance — and we’re suddenly not so sure this wedding will be smooth sailing.
Elsewhere, one of Freya’s friends gushes that she and Abe are “perfect” together. But newcomer Sophie Thompson — who joins the cast as Beanie McElroy, an alt-bridal designer with a razor-sharp eye — isn’t convinced. “Then why is she crying?” she counters coolly.
So, is this love story about to unravel before Freya even makes it down the aisle? Consider us officially seated.

And when asked whether Freya has any doubts about saying “I do”, actress Kyla Harris didn’t exactly dispel our fears.

Will there Be We Might Regret This season 3?
Getting slightly ahead of ourselves? Perhaps. But when a show is this good, can you blame us?
We Might Regret This has officially been renewed for seasons two and three — and honestly, it feels deserved.
Creators Lee and Kyla previously described the first series as “just the tip of the comedy iceberg”, teasing that there’s far more chaos (and catharsis) to come. They added that they’re “beyond grateful to the BBC for their continued support and commitment to exploring disability, messy relationships and unparalleled intimacy on screen.”
