Just when you thought *those* Victoria and David Beckham purple wedding outfits could get no more iconic, the pair have rediscovered them over two decades years on and slipped in them to celebrate their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary.
Marrying on July 4 1999 in Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland, Posh and Becks had a much more intimate wedding than you might have expected from one of the world's most showbiz couples.
With just 29 guests in attendance - including, of course, VB's Spice Girls bandmates Mel B, Mel C, and Emma Bunton - Victoria and David married in ivory looks but quickly changed into what soon became two of the most memorable wedding outfits in history as they welcomed a reported 200+ more guests into their evening reception.

A purple gown with a thigh-high split exposing the scarlet red lining and a single red and purple rosette-covered shoulder strap, Victoria's look was a far cry from her minimalist wardrobe - and, indeed, fashion label - of today.
David's matching purple look featured a double-breasted blazer and a matching floral corsage, with a relatively wide-leg trouser adding to the 90s silhouette.

Rewearing these iconic looks to mark 25 years since the day of their nuptials, the pair posted a series of seriously epic images to Instagram, with one captioned "Yep, still got it! 🤣 Can’t believe it’s been 25 years and they still fit! 💜💍".
David's post saw him take a shorter approach to captioning, merely writing “Look what we found… 😅💜”.

We couldn't be happier to see these outfits still in existence, and look forward to visiting them in a well-earned spot at the centre of a museum one day. Surely?!
