Victoria Beckham showed her autumn/winter 16 show in New York yesterday, Sunday 14 February. Referring to it as a 'an evolution in her personal style', perhaps unsurprisingly this show had VB's signature all over it and its hard not to imagine seeing countless pap shots of her wearing the elegantly tailored checked coats.
Now in her 15th season, Beckham has proven herself to be a talented designer, with even more of a talent for knowing how women want to feel in clothes. Here are six ideas we'll be copying come next autumn:
This show was all about the corset, but modernized for daytime in unexpected fabrics. Team with trousers or a midi-length skirt.
Feminine pieces like slip dresses and skirts that swoosh are toughened up with pointy flat shoes. Flying the flag for comfortable shoes, Victoria herself abandoned her high-heels in favour of trainers.
The only prints to feature in this show - we may even try wearing them together.
Not a mini in sight - team with a corset to show a little flesh and keep things sexy.
This trend's been going strong for a few seasons now and here VB shows that its still got legs.
A carry-over from SS16, just in a more wintery fabrications. We also love the addition of a bubble hem.
