Over the past year, we've become used to Jennifer Aniston yo-yoing between short bobs and long, beachy hair. But it seems Victoria Beckham has got the headline-stealing hair memo, too.
For years, the fashion designer rarely deviated from her chest-grazing, tousled strands – complete with a smattering of honey highlights woven throughout. And then, out of the blue, she opted to bring back her iconic bob from the Spice Girls era earlier this month.
A snap posted to Instagram from a family holiday to Vegas revealed a sleek collarbone bob, worn with a centre part, that looked like it was straight out of the '90s archives – just with a softer, face-framing texture.
Cue: new season mood boards, featuring swishy waist-length strands, were swiftly replaced with this flattering blunt-tipped cut.

Then on 25th September, ahead of her show at Paris Fashion Week, Victoria debuted a choppier, grown-out lob that blurred the lines between expensive and edgy. And so the ‘posh’ lob was born.
Over the past few days, she has cut a chic figure in the French capital, wearing a lace-trimmed pinstripe skirt and high-waisted flared jeans, which she accessorised with oversized square sunglasses. But all eyes were on Victoria Beckham's new hairstyle, which seems worlds away from the signature, play-it-safe loosely waved ‘do that we’ve come to associate with the designer.
The only common theme is the sun-kissed ends, which instantly brighten the complexion, but everything else signals that Victoria is entering a more experimental era with regards to her hair.
Fashion Week has proved a catalyst for celebrities to go for the chop, with Kendall Jenner opting to not only go blonde but also to sport a new blunt bob. After all, it's a time to celebrate transformative looks and why shouldn't that extend to hair? The big question is…which of Victoria's ‘posh’ hairstyles do you like best?
