After the horrific event, politicians and celebrities immediately took to social media to show their support and offer their condolences to those affected. This included Ariana Grande who stressed the importance in viewing this event for what it truly is, a terrorist attack. While other celebrities shared her view, Donald Trump has hesitated to label the incident as domestic 'terrorism'. The definition of terrorism, "the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims", which in many ways fits the nature of the attack.
