As a host for the official Oscars 2024 red carpet, Vanessa Hudgens is getting the fashion festivities started for the night, and, of course, she is not disappointing with a full pregnancy announcement.
Hudgens is back on host duty for the Oscars 2024 red carpet pre-show after successful runs in 2022 and 2023, making this her third consecutive year she holds the post, this time accompanied by Julianne Hough.
Her hair and makeup seemingly transformed her into a long-lost Kardashian-Jenner sister.
Hudgens chose an all-black look for the occasion, opting for a figure-hugging gown complete with a turtle neck and long sleeves that fully made her bay bump stand out. She accessorised the gown with an all-white manicure, a dainty diamond necklace, matching earrings, and a couple of rings.
The last time we saw Hudgens grace the Oscars red carpet was in 2023 — when she also had a run-in with her ex, Austin Butler. For that ceremony, Hudgens chose another figure-hugging, black and white dress from Chanel, also accessorised by a simple diamond necklace and matching earrings — and, of course, her dazzling engagement ring. Hudgens actually tied the knot with boyfriend Cole Trucker in late 2023 in Mexico so, of course, her wedding ring was the most notable addition for the Oscars 2024 — aside from, you know, her actual pregnant belly.
Last year, after the ceremony wrapped, Hudgens also made her way to the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party, for which she changed into a Roberto Cavalli gown with sheer cutout detailings and animal-print patterns. Will she make her way to this year's party as well given her pregnancy? Only time will tell but we will for sure be tuned in to check this space.
