Union J singer JJ Hamblett is set to become a father for the first time, after announcing the happy news on his Twitter page.
The X Factor alumnus will welcome the bundle of joy with his longterm girlfriend model Caterina Lopez.
Announcing the news on the microblogging site, Hamblett posted: "Guys I want you to be the first to know that I've got some big news...I'm going to be a daddy.... :-) :-) wooop x." The 24-year-old then added: "My girlfriend and I are super super excited and the boys cant wait to be uncles! They are already thinking of names begining with J lol :-)x." Lopez also shared a picture of their baby scan on the site, with the caption: "Someone looks extremely comfortable ...Our little monkey ! #babyhamblett #jjhamblett."
She then added: "Thank you for all the beautiful messages ! WE are so happy to welcome our little monkey into the world very soon ..#itsaBeautifulLife." The couple were also congratulated by his Union J bandmates, Josh Cuthbert wrote: "SUPER DOOOPER WOOOOPER HAPPY FOR MY BROTHER JJ :-) :-) :-) :-) hi my names Uncle Josh......just call me Uncle.Pidge. :P hehe! Love you bro x."
George Shelley added: "JJ THE DAD! So proud of you brother. It's going to be the most gorgeous baby ever! Can't wait to teach it guitar! Hang on... NAPPIES! Eww ;)." Meanwhile Jaymi commented: "Congrats JJ & Cat - gonna be an uncle whoop."
