Tom Hiddleston has revealed that before getting the Loki gig in the hit Thor movies, he originally auditioned for the titular role.
Speaking on Chelsea Handler's TV show, Hiddleston revealed: "They were always looking for Loki as well, and I think - the closer I got, they were like, 'Actually, you should play the bad guy'." The British actor, who as fans will well know plays the role of Thor's brother and arch enemy Loki in the film series, even admitted putting on 18lbs for the part, which eventually went to Chris Hemsworth.
The second instalment of the hit franchise, Thor: The Dark World,<span class="apple-converted-space"> is out now in the UK.
