The Strokes are the latest act announced as headliners at British Summer Time at Hyde Park.
The gig will be their first in London in five years.
The band will play on Thursday 18 June and will join Future Islands and Beck, who serve as support acts. It has taken much will power not to use multiple excited exclamation marks in this story.
The festival has enlisted a truly impressive and eclectic line-up this year, including Taylor Swift, Grace Jones, The Who, Blur, Kylie Minogue and Chic feat Nile Rodgers.
