Tom Holland is someone we have always had a soft spot for. From his picture-perfect romance with Zendaya to his career-making turn as Spider-Man, the British actor has certainly established himself as one of Hollywood's elite.
And now, the 26-year-old will soon be seen in the gritty new series The Crowded Room on Apple TV+, which, if the trailer is anything to go by, will leave us completely speechless thanks to its never-ending twists and turns.
As well as executive producing the show, Tom takes on the role of Danny Sullivan, who is plagued by mental health issues while being quizzed by detective Rya Goodwin (played by Emmy winner Amanda Seyfried) as she tries to uncover his mysterious past following his arrest in connection with a shooting. Sounds like something right up our street!
What's more, the show, which is created by Oscar winner Akiva Goldsman, is set to be an important watch as it will explore the brutal realities of an individual's personal experience told through the dangerous eyes of an unreliable narrator while also shining a light on mental health within young males.

A captivating thriller told through a series of interviews with curious interrogator Rya Goodwin (Amanda Seyfried), Danny's life story unfolds, revealing elements of the mysterious past that shaped him and the twists and turns that will lead him to a life-altering revelation."

Alongside Tom and Amanda, the series also stars Emmy Rossum.
The talented trio are joined by Sasha Lane, Will Chase and Lior Raz, along with guest stars Jason Isaacs, Christopher Abbott, Thomas Sadoski and Zachary Golinger.

What has Tom said about The Crowded Room?
Tom recently spoke about his experience filming the emotionally demanding, heavy show, The Crowded Room, telling Entertainment Weekly that the character took a toll on him.
"The mental aspect, it really beat me up, and it took a long time for me to recover afterwards, to sort of get back to reality," he told the publication.

The first three episodes of The Crowded Room will hit Apple TV+ globally on 9 June, with the rest of its ten episodes on a weekly schedule every Friday until 28 July.
