The cottage from The Holiday is officially available to rent

This is not a drill.
The cottage from The Holiday is officially available to rent

In the most warming news we've ever shared, the cottage from The Holiday is officially available to rent on Airbnb from January 2023 – and we're practically faint with excitement. Yep: the quintessential English cottage Kate Winslet owns in the 2016 rom-com – inside which Cameron Diaz (read: Amanda) falls in love with Jude Law (that is: Graham) – can be booked for £295 per night.

The cosy new holiday cottage listing comes after a couple – Jon Bromley, 58, and his wife, Cressida, 52 – purchased the property back in 2019 without realising anything of its movie credentials. That was, until, strangers starting showing up in the field opposite, taking photographs of the exterior.

It's located in Holmbury St Mary, Surrey, and it's only now that the couple have decided to open the property for weekend breaks and winter holidays. Despite still living there, they've already secured bookings for Christmas, New Year and summer 2023. We. Are. Obsessed.

If you're anything like us, and have re-watched the Nancy Meyers film approx. 15 times already this festive season, you might feel it high time to live out your Jude Law fantasies and book a stay in the property for yourself.

As expected, the interiors of this beautiful little cottage are festive as hell – complete with wooden beams, inglenook fireplace, underfloor heating, log burner and an AGA in the kitchen. There's a dining room for festive dining and board game comps, and cosiest-looking armchair ever, sure to become your most-favourite reading nook.

Of course, with views over the Surrey Hills (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, FYI), a luscious lawn and plenty of space for outdoor dining, the property would be just as perfect for summer getaways as it would during the winter months. Just imagine watching the sun set from those luscious lawns.

As for how many people you can live stay there with? The cottage sleeps five guests across three bedrooms. There are two double bedrooms plus one single bedroom, plus a bath and shower, two toilets and a utility room.

In short: if you fancy a getaway suitable for Hollywood royalty that's close to London and perfect in every season, this is it. We just can't guarantee that Iris' “inordinately pissed” “semi-respectable big brother” will come knocking and asking to be put up at midnight. Apologies.
