Ok, so we know Taylor Kitsch is making his True Detective debut tonight - playing highway patrolman Paul Woodrugh, another depressed resident of Southern California who has a death wish - but y'know what, he will always be the ever so tortured Tim Riggins to us.
If you've not watched Taylor Kitsch in Friday Night Lights, get on Netflix and stat! Perhaps right after you've watched True Detective - you just might need some light relief.
Here's why Tim Riggins will always beour number 1…
Well, first of all, just LOOK at him...
Watch how his hair blows in the wind like the bad boy he is...
Not the sharpest tool in the box, but Riggins was great at American Football...
Cue a gratuitous sweaty press-up shot
He could do no wrong - he swiped his bestmate's girl, and we STILL loved him! WTF?
Sure, he could be a grumpy bugger at times, but he knew that more than anyone
And then he'd go and do something like this...

Anyway - let's get real - he looks like THIS in the rain...
He might always be swigging beer...
But he somehow made a hangover look sexy, so it's ok
And although he's not exactly a glass-half-full-kinda-fella...
He has an excellent Pelvic Lurrve...
And he has MAJOR moves in the bedroom...
Annoyingly, he could get a little aggy at times...
But Tim Riggins, you will always hold a special place in our hearts
