Sydney Sweeney has well and truly got into her beauty groove. Much like her character, Cassie Howard in teen drama, Euphoria, she's very much here for exploring looks, trends and products – and there's one tool in particular she swears by. In fact, you might have already seen her use it in that Euphoria morning beauty rituals montage from season 2.
“I truly don’t think I started exploring beauty until Euphoria. So a lot of those tools [in that viral skincare routine scene from the show] are actually my tools,” the actress told Coveteur. “The ice roller is one thing that I use almost every morning,” she continued. In fact, she stanned the skin de-puffer so hard, she became an on-set influencer. “When we were filming that scene, the crew was like, what is this? [Then afterwards] a bunch of the ADs and PAs all ordered them on Amazon,” she explained.
It's not the first time Syd has spoken of her love for ice rollers, either. In her 10 minute beauty routine with Allure, the actress revealed: “I bring this everywhere I go. It's just an ice roller I got off Amazon, and I live by it.” And because she never wants to be without one, she has multiples in her freezer and in the fridge in her trailer when she's on set. "It just wakes me up, I feel like it makes my skin feel good and takes away any puffiness," she explained.
Away from ice rollers, she also let slip some other beauty heroes. “I’ve been using [the Laneige] Milk Oil Cleanser and Lip Sleeping Mask since I was 19,” she told Coveteur, which is why she became the brand's ambassador.
And while she was quick to point out that ‘Sydney Sweeney’ and ‘Cassie Howard’ are two very different people, expressive beauty is a theme they both have in common. “[Euphoria] taught me that there’s no rules to beauty or makeup or hair or any of those things, that I could take every red carpet and photoshoot as an opportunity for me to explore different sides of myself and my relationship to beauty,” Sydney insisted.
