Recap: what happened in the semi-final?
Eager fans tuned in on Sunday, 14th December, for the Strictly Come Dancing semi-final, and the tension was palpable. After months of gruelling routines and a few injuries, the final four celebs were ready to battle for a spot in the Grand Final.
The night featured YouTuber George Clarke, footballer Karen Carney, West End star Amber Davies, and EastEnders actress Balvinder Sopal, all vying for the top spot. Unfortunately, one celeb had to leave, with Amber and Balvinder landing in the dreaded dance-off following audience votes.
After both performed, the judges delivered their verdicts. Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas, and Anton Du Beke all chose to save Amber and her partner Nikita Kuzmin, and with Craig Revel Horwood holding the casting vote, Amber was safe once again.
With a big smile, Balvinder and her partner Julian Caillon were the next couple to exit the competition, ending their Strictly journey. An incredible journey!
Who are the Strictly finalists?
With Balvinder out, the Strictly 2025 final three are Amber, George, and Karen — and yes, we’ve got the full rundown of their planned performances. Spoiler alert if you like surprises…
