Stephen Moyer teases us about True Blood movie

Calling all True Blood fans! Just when you thought it was all over… The edible Stephen Moyer has hinted that the show could be coming back.

The actor - who plays vampire Bill Compton in the hugely-popular series - hinted that fans may be handed more stories in some form in the year 2016. Bit of a wait, then.

True Blood is hitting screens for its seventh and final season this summer, but when asked by stateside reporters about the future of the show, Moyer said: "I'm not sure about the summer of 2015, but if things go the way I'm hoping there will be something to watch in the summer of 2016." He added: "We'll have an announcement about that... soonish."

His comments have sparked worldwide speculation amongst fans that True Blood may spawn a movie or a TV spin-off series.
