We'd noticed hair getting decidedly more princessy in 2025 with ultra-feminine updos taking off, but one style we didn't have on our bingo card, is the Snow White bob.
It feels like overnight, the style has come to play, recruiting some seriously high profile fans including Selena Gomez, Zendaya, Rachel Zegler and Kendall Jenner.
It's good timing, since 2025 will see the new live-action remake of the classic Disney film hit our screens in March, but ahead of time, it looks like the OG princess' famous jaw-length cut is already inspiring spin-offs.
Princess hairstyles have been given the cool-girl makeover.
What is a Snow White bob?
Nodding to the hair worn by Disney's Snow White, the chop features jaw-length strands with a polished finish and added texture – either a wave, flick or tuck. In the original 1937 film, Snow White appears to have a wave in her hair, while in the 2025 remake starring Rachel Zegler as the princess, she wears her bob with the ends rolled and tucked under.
It's quite a vintage style, but it's been given a modern makeover with recent A-list renditions.

How to wear the Snow White bob?
We've seen the style worn fancy and ultra-polished, wavy and voluminous, sleek and tucked and even a little mussy and off-duty (like Kendall's cool-girl take on the trend). But alongside the hair, we've seen makeup looks that lean decidedly into Snow White territory, with high-contrast glam that play up eyes and lips with defined lashes and a bolder rosy or red lip colour and flushed cheeks.
Selena opted for a Snow White bob, created by hair stylist, Renato Campora for the Golden Globes. She wore hers side-parted with a rolled Hollywood wave that tucks at the bottom. For precision, Renato even used two tongs for the look, the GHD Curve Classic Curl Tong to curl and pin through the back, right side and sleek tuck at the bottom, then, the GHD Soft Curl Tong for the top (curling forward), to ensure the top section lays beautifully on the tighter bottom waves.
As for her makeup, she went for a full Snow White vibe with dark, defined eyes, rosebud lips and glazed pink cheeks.

Zendaya also served up a take on the Snow White bob at the Golden Globes. She debuted a warmer chestnut hair colour, parted ever-so-slightly off-centre and waved for some vintage volume. As for her makeup, she kept it warm and tonal to match her hair and amber dress.

For a baddie spin on Snow White, Kendall Jenner's mussy flicked bob is so cute and sassy. The flicks at the end nod to the voluminous shape made famous by the Disney princess, but with a very modern feel. As for her makeup, she's got the dark defined eyes, blushed cheeks and ruby red lips down.

The newest Snow White, Rachel Zegler, already showed an appreciation for the Disney princess's hairstyle back in 2022 when she chopped her hair into a jaw-length bob and wore it tucked for the Oscars.
