Shilpa Shetty in Eastenders?

Celebrity Big Brother winner Shilpa Shetty is in talks about appearing in Eastenders. The 32-year-old Bollywood actress is allegedly in discussions with the show's bosses about playing a member of a new Indian family who move into the Square later this year. The actress is thought to be keen to stay in Britain as she has recently bought a £10m mansion in Surrey with her fiancé Raj Kundra. "Eastenders would be a springboard to long-term success in Britain - and that is very much in Shilpa's sights," a source said. "She knows all about the show as it is a big hit in her homeland - and of course it is popular with a lot of Indians in the UK."
