Last night Sheridan Smith pulled out of the West End show, Funny Girl, and it's not yet known when she will return to the stage.

The Savoy Theatre tweeted: "Due to the indisposition of Sheridan Smith the role of Fanny Brice would be played by Natasha J Barnes at tonight's performance."

It hasn't been a straight run for the actress from the beginning. Smith previously pulled out of a few performances due to her father being ill, and at Sunday night's BAFTAs, Graham Norton made reference to the time where a Funny Girl performance was closed after only 15 minutes. It was attributed to "technical difficulties" but audience members claimed Sheridan appeared too drunk on stage to deliver her lines.

It is still unclear whether Sheridan Smith has pulled out of the Funny Girl for good or not. But we hope she'll be back for more.
