Here's a new TV series to add to your January watchlist: a nostalgic murder mystery adapted from none other than an Agatha Christie novel: The Seven Dials Mystery.
It follows the story of a young woman named Bundle, played by Mia McKenna-Bruce, who opts to investigate the death that occurs in her house after a decadent party. She finds herself tangled up in the world of a secret club, with suspects of multiple murders messing with her mind. Will she get to the bottom of what happened, or will Superintendent Battle (played by Martin Freeman) thwart her attempts at discovering the truth?
The cast of the Netflix series is really quite something – here's Glamour's rundown of the stars you will spot in Agatha Christie's Seven Dials mystery show, and where you might have seen them before.
Seen in: How To Have Sex, The Lady
Mia had an amazing breakthrough into the industry playing the lead in Molly Manning Walker's amazing film How To Have Sex, which followed a group of teenage girls who take a rite-of-passage girls holiday that turns into a huge lesson in sexual consent.
She plays Bundle Brent, a young, budding detective who takes on the case of her life when someone she loves dies at a party of hers. She's cunning, quick and an unpredictable driver.
Seen in: Harry Potter, Sweeney Todd, The King's Speech, Alice in Wonderland
Helena is a national treasure, for sure. She terrified us as Bellatrix Lestrange in the Harry Potter movie franchise, worked alongside Tim Burton playing both the Queen of Hearts in his take on CS Lewis' Alice in Wonderland and Mrs Lovett in Sweeney Todd.
In Seven Dials, she plays Bundle's widowed mother Lady Caterham. She, without a doubt, has the funniest lines, laced with her trademark dry humour, but she has also been left grief-stricken by the death of her husband, as well as losing her son in the war. Left with financial problems and no man to bail her out, what will she to do to survive?
Seen in: Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, My Oxford Year, Hostage
Corey is quite the Netflix star, first starring in the Bridgerton prequel series about Queen Charlotte, playing the monarch's husband King George in heartbreaking flashbacks. He continues his talent with tearjerkers in the recent Netflix film My Oxford Year, and also had a role in last year's political series Hostage, also starring Suranne Jones and Julie Delpy.
Seen in: Sherlock, Fargo, The Hobbit film franchise, The Office, The Responder
Martin is no stranger to big-time TV and movie roles, or the world of murder mysteries, having played Watson in BBC's rendition of Sherlock, starring alongside Benedict Cumberbatch. In Seven Dials, he plays Superintendent Battle, who is tasked with getting to the bottom of the deaths that rock Bundle's world. Can he be trusted?
Seen in: My Lady Jane, Killing Eve, Sex Education
Ed has been around the block, playing Maeve's unpredictable runaway of a brother in Sex Education and helming the very sexy My Lady Jane. Here, he plays Jimmy Thesiger, who joins Bundle's mission to solve the mystery behind the death of their friends.
Seen in: Film Club, 1917, Industry
After appearing in an episode of Industry and a Haim music video, Nabhaan went on to star alongside Aimee Lou Wood in her first ever screenwriting project, Film Club. The pair play best friends with a rather romantic undertone, as Aimee's character Evie recovers from a mental breakdown, finding solace in watching films with her best friend.
