What is Selling the City about?

Netflix's plot synopsis reads: “A team of stylishly savvy New York real estate agents hustle to seal multimillion-dollar deals while stirring up drama in this soapy reality series.”

We can also expect a frank look at how women are treated in the business world, particularly in real estate. Eleonora has spoken out already about the ways in which she's encountered stigma as a woman in business.

“If people cannot justify a woman’s success — whether it’s by having connections, wealthy parents, or who your husband is — then there is certainly a default to try to talk about her behavior,” she said in an interview with Netflix's Tudum. “There’s a belittling that happens with women in business, and it’s a constant struggle and fight to work against those narratives.”

Selling the City cast

Joining Eleonora will be a stellar cast of agent – she has opened up about finding just the right candidates, including “women who were comfortable learning”.

“Most of all, I was looking for drive. I was looking for open minds and women who were comfortable learning,” she told Netflix's Tudum. “I’m at a place now where I can share my secret sauce and mentor people, knowing that it does not take away from me. Their success, shine, and accomplishments make everyone better — and actually more money.”

Confirmed cast members are named Jade, Taylor, Jordyn, Abigail, Gisselle and Justin. Abi has attested to the sisterhood vibes in the show, regardless of the drama that also ensues. “Eleonora is just this genuine and deep person, who’s willing to share her knowledge and that’s very, very hard to find in this industry,” she told Tudum. “But we are truly an ensemble cast where you really get to see each one of us shine.”

Selling the City release date
