Rihanna herself debuted the line on both her own Instagram and the Savage x Fenty accounts, posting shots of her modelling the red-hot Candy Hearts lingerie line and Seamless Fishnet edit and looking pretty darn hot in the process. In a statement, the brand said, “Cheeky candy heart-shaped messages bring a playful and sassy attitude a collection that is a naughty as it is sweet” and told fans to “Dare to bare in the curve hugging Valentine’s Seamless Fishnet mock neck slip in black caviar and goji berry red.”
Dropping online today, the new Valentine’s Day collection is just what we need to persuade ourselves to invest in a little self-love this year. The brand has joined forces with collage artist Labyrinth of Collages, which has fashioned a montage of celebs including Zoe Kravitz, Zendaya, and Harry Styles, to craft imagery for the seasonal campaign.
RiRi called on the likes of pals including Miguel, Nazanin Mandi, Alek Wek, Chinqpink and Lulu Bonfils to star in the campaign shot by Dennis Leupold, wearing other pieces from the saucy collection.
Candy Hearts is all about satin lace-ups, dotted mesh and red lace, Seamless Fishnet has a more playful nod with candy-heart shaped prints and figure-hugging slips. Meanwhile, Linking Hearts showcases embroidery, balconette bras and garter belts. Oh, and the men’s collection got an update too with new pieces including an oversized sleep satin smoking jacket and matching boxers in different shades.
As the brand says, “Whether this Valentine’s Day is for you, for bae or for play, Savage X has something for every mood.” The sizes range from 32A to 42DD and XS to 3X, with prices between £9.50 up to £59 making it a pretty affordable option for sprucing up your undies.
