Rihanna has debuted her new crop outside of the world of social media - on a shopping trip to the Neil Lane jewellery store in West Hollywood, no less. But despite a bit of retail therapy she still looked pretty glum.
The star has never shyed away from experimenting with cuts and colours and styles over the years, but is this softer look - her follicles au naturel perhaps - not quite sitting right with RiRi?

After going for grey tips last week, RiRi Instagrammed two photos of herself today sporting a new short and curly hairstyle.
However, unlike her usual smiley selfies, Rihanna looks decidedly glum in both pictures, even going so far to say as much herself:
"Still tryna get used to my hurr, so I threw on some #redlipstick #RIRIWoo" she posted.
While Rihanna may be down at her RiRi Woo-lipsticked mouth about her new 'do, her fans certainly love her no matter what, with comments ranging from the usual "OMG! SUPER <3 I LOVE YOU!" to Whitney Houston comparisons. Thoughts?
