She may have announced at the end of last month that she's stepping down as CEO of Savage x Fenty, but you'd be foolish to think that Rihanna is stepping back from appearing in her lingerie label's campaign imagery.
After all, with endless major fashion houses vying to sign the musician, actress and businesswoman to be the face of their brands, who better to model these pieces than the founder herself?
Having only launched the brand back in 2018, by 2021 Savage x Fenty had already reached the $1billion valuation landmark according to Forbes.
Remaining in a leadership position at the helm of the company as Executive Chair - after welcoming former Anthropologie Group CEO, Hillary Super, to be the new chief executive officer of her billion-dollar business - it seems RiRi will still be a very present personality at the much-loved lingerie label.
Launching the brand's new Sheer X collection today, the latest offering is not only modelled by the visionary mogul but designed by her too.
Said to be perfect for “sexy, everyday comfort”, the edit features Savage x Fenty's first-ever spacer demi bra - ideal for low cut tops and revealing necklines and more practical and breathable than traditional foam padding - as well as the much-loved thong and cheeky brief silhouettes.
With a shade range spanning coral pink to terracotta pink and classic black, these are timeless, wearable styles with that subtle hint of sheer panelling to add interest of texture.
“I always like to bring a fresh take to lingerie in a way that feels authentic to Savage X Fenty”, explained Rihanna, “and Sheer X is the next phase of that. It's all about balance with this collection - supportive and sexy.”
Savage x Fenty is also launching an exclusive ‘Sheer X VIP Box’ (exclusively available for Xtra VIP members) curated by Rihanna, which includes the Demi Spacer Bra, Thong and limited-edition Lace-Up Skirt in Red Pink.
