The MET Gala is finally here, and on even more important news, so is aunty Rih Rih.
Fashionably late may be a cliché but for one of our all-time faves, it's a lifestyle. But we all know that good thing come to those who wait and we are NOT disappointed. We are so lucky to be able to witness our favourite popstar-turned entrepreneur glide up the MET Gala's steps this year. We're of course talking about Rihanna... We've been waiting for three long years and it's finally here.
This billion-dollar babe was serving us street-royalty, wearing an all-black Balenciaga Couture FW21 number by Demna Gvasalia, with a black beanie and diamond head-jewellery. She is wearing a pair of custom Maria Tash earrings, featuring a waterfall of floating round and pear diamonds. She also wore additional Maria Tash earrings throughout her piercing placements.
Queen Ri even bought her boo A$AP Rocky along, who was also sporting a very interesting look. It was giving us very cozy blanket vibes, but he did reveal a very slick and neat black two-piece suit underneath.
From that MTV awards performance to that Super Bowl baby announcement.
Her glam squad must have been working overtime as our good sis missed the red-carpet coverage, but they did not miss a beat. With a pinky-purply eyeshadow moment and berry lips, Rihanna looked picture-perfect at the ceremony on Tuesday night.
While Rihanna was a co-chair for the event back in 2018, for this year, Timothée Chalamet, Billie Eilish, Amanda Gorman, and Naomi Osaka are co-chairs of the event.
Keke Palmer and Ilana Glazer were hosting the red carpet and they have been getting all the scoop from the celebs themselves, but unfortunately wrapped it all up before we could get more intel for Rihanna herself.
