A social media hunt is on the way for a man in south London who appeared to push a woman off a pavement and into the path of an oncoming bus.

The man was jogging along Putney Bridge on Friday 5 May at 7.40am and, on passing the woman who was walking on the road side of the path, pushed her out of his way.
The bus driver fortunately veered away from the woman, without going into the other lane of traffic – the man, meanwhile, carried on running.
What. A. Champ.
The video of the incident has been widely shared online since the Met Police released the footage on Tuesday, along with scathing comments about the man in question.

Oh, and it gets worse. According to the Met Police, the jogger came back the other way across the bridge around 15 minutes later. The victim tried to speak to him but offices say he "refused to acknowledge her" and carried on running.
The jogger is described as white in his early to mid-30s, with brown eyes and short brown hair. He was wearing a light grey T-shirt and dark blue shorts.
Sergeant Mat Knowles said, "The victim was put in extreme danger when she was knocked into the road. It was only due to the superb quick reactions of the bus driver that she was not hit by the vehicle."
The incident might have happened three months ago, but fingers crossed that this man hands himself in – it's probably preferable to social media finding him first.
