Katie Price has dropped a new plot twist in her vast and ever-expanding lore – one that absolutely no one could have ever predicted. Just four months after marrying Lee Andrews, Price is pleading for help on social media amid fears he's been kidnapped. No, we're not joking. The question on everyone's lips right now is “Where is Katie Price's husband?”

Let's start with where we know he's not: the UK. The first hint that something was wrong came last week, when Andrews failed to make it to a Good Morning Britain appearance with Price. During the interview, she claimed that Andrews was stuck at the airport in Dubai, where he lives, clapping back at claims he'd been detained. But the story soon started to unravel and, only a few days later, Price took to YouTube to reveal that she hasn't heard from her husband in days. Even worse, she fears he's been kidnapped.

So yes, there's a lot to unpack. Here's a breakdown of the need-to-know details.

Who is Katie Price's husband?

First and foremost, let's cover the basics. Katie Price married Dubai-based businessman Lee Andrews in January, after a whirlwind romance that saw the couple meet, get engaged and then betrothed in just a matter of days. Andrews pulled out all the stops for the proposal, staging it at Dubai's luxury Burj Al Arab hotel, with plenty of rose petals and a private hot tub. The wedding ceremony itself was completely private – and reportedly came as a shock to Price's family and friends.

As for Price, she was quick to sing Andrews' praises. “How I met Lee was esoteric; we connected [by] both checking each other’s socials and quickly realised, ‘Wow, this is for me.’ In the old-fashioned way, first by words, which captured us both,” she said. “That evolved deeper as we connected further within days, [getting] matching tattoos, and then both deciding to buy rings for the other. All this without even meeting, we let fate, but you could [say] destiny, decide. I’m just so happy with my person that is just as happy as I am. What we have, they haven’t even invented the words.”

Since then, the relationship has continued to raise eyebrows, from reports that Andrews reported to another influencer in exactly the same way a few months before meeting Price, to revelations that he's lied about his background.

When did Lee Andrews go missing?

According to Price, the last time she heard anything from her husband was on Wednesday 13th May, this is a day after her solo Good Morning Britain interview. But she didn't share this information with the public until Saturday evening – until then, she'd been keeping up appearances and acting like everything was fine.

On her podcast that Thursday, for example, she spoke candidly about how he'd stood her up on the show and the growing speculation that he's not allowed in the UK due to a flight ban. “If he does make it to England it will shut all the rumours up because at the moment, everyone thinks he’s on a flight ban, this and that," she said. "I said it does look weird that you haven’t come to England and I keep going to Dubai.” She also separately posted on social media, explaining that Andrews wasn't currently active because he was taking a break amidst intense trolling.

Then, on Saturday 16th May, the truth came out. “I don’t really know where to begin but I know there’s all this speculation about Lee from when I met him. Something really, really serious has happened," she said in a YouTube video. “The last time I heard from Lee was Wednesday night at 10pm, he was trying to go through the border in Dubai to get on a flight to me. We are wondering if he’s been kidnapped; he’s definitely a missing person now.”

Why does Katie Price think he's been kidnapped?

Price seems to believe her husband has been kidnapped due to the circumstances of their last FaceTime call. “He had ties around his hand, not handcuffs, and a hood, and he said, ‘Look, they’re coming back for me,’ that is the last FaceTime call I had,” she said. “He was in a van, but the windows were white with a mesh. It looked like an old, dirty van.”

Since then, his phone's location has been offline and no one has been able to contact him. “We are now wondering, as far-fetched as it is, that he’s a missing person now, I don’t know if he’s been kidnapped,” said Price, who also confirmed that she's been in touch with he Criminal Investigation Department in Dubai. “No one can find him in any prison, any police station; the police can’t find any record of him."

Now, it's been almost a week since anyone has heard anything from Andrews, including other family members. In her most recent update, Price confirmed that she's reported him as a missing person to both the British Embassy and the authorities in Dubai. “Luckily I've got a really good support network around me," said Price in her most recent update video, while detailing the toll it's taking on her mental health. “No one needs to worry about me in any way, shape or form, because I always keep my head, mind, body and soul in check. But it's just the unknown and the anxiety.”
